That is why the core of our investment policy is to predominantly invest in the safest securities – government bonds and deposits in reputable banks. History
Foundation
Garant Pension Company received its operating license on November 16, 2006, from the National Bank of Serbia. Since then, we have been operating as a company specializing in managing voluntary pension funds.
Mergers and Expansion
In January, we acquired the “Hypo” pension fund and rebranded it as “Hypo-Garant.” In November, we also acquired “DDOR Penzija Plus,” further strengthening our position in the market. These mergers have enabled a larger asset pool and a more stable future for our members.
Continued Growth and Consolidation
In April, we took over the management of the “Triglav Penzija” fund, and in October, we assumed management of the “Societe Generale Štednja” and “Societe Generale Ekvilibrio” funds. By the end of the year, these two funds were merged with existing ones, resulting in the creation of DDOR Garant Ekvilibrio and DDOR Garant Štednja, which are successfully operating today.

The majority shareholder of DDOR GARANT Voluntary Pension Fund Management Company Belgrade is Prva Group plc, holding a 60% stake in the company’s share capital. It is one of the leading financial institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. The Group continues to develop and strengthen its leadership position in the market through the expansion of its business networks and partnerships.
The Group consists of five member companies—financial institutions engaged in insurance and pension fund operations. Prva Group plc was founded in December 2000 and provides services throughout all stages of life in the Slovenian market, including life insurance, accident and health insurance, as well as supplementary pension insurance.
DDOR NOVI SAD ADO
The second shareholder of DDOR GARANT Voluntary Pension Fund Management Company Belgrade, holding a 32.46% stake in the company’s share capital, is DDOR Novi Sad ado, one of the leading insurance providers in the regional market, with a business tradition spanning over 65 years.
Since January 2008, DDOR Novi Sad ado has been operating as a member of the Unipol Group, the second-largest insurance company in the Italian market, the leader in non-life insurance, and among the top ten in Europe. The Group follows an integrated offering strategy to provide a wide range of insurance and financial products and services, with a particular focus on supplementary pension and health insurance.
DDOR RE ADO
DDOR RE ado Novi Sad, holding a 7.54% stake in the share capital, is a joint-stock reinsurance company majority-owned by The Lawrence Ltd Reinsurance, headquartered in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. DDOR RE was established as a closed joint-stock company registered to conduct reinsurance activities for all types of insurance. The company operates as part of the Unipol Group, based in Italy, which also includes DDOR Novi Sad ado.
